Montana is the daughter of mainstream actors Laurence Fishburne and Hajna O. Moss.

She revealed that her father is "very hurt" about her porn career, and initially stated that she believed he would eventually view it as a positive.

She later stated that he had cut ties with her and that she was "no longer welcome in his life" due to her career choice.

Montana Fishburne was arrested for prostitution in 2009.

She reportedly cut a deal with prosecutors who dropped the solicitation and prostitution charges in exchange for her pleading no contest to misdemeanor criminal trespass and entering a work-alternative program.
