Anna Ventura was an American nude model and porn star. One of the biggest emerging stars in porn in the early to the mid-1980s, she was born in Spain, and raised in New York City. Ventura was around for only a short time but managed to collect quite a huge fan following. However, as quickly as her star rose, it just as quickly disappeared, with Ventura apparently leaving the adult entertainment industry by 1989, reportedly, to marry and have a family. Anna Ventura was born June 9th, 1960 in Barcelona, Spain. Her father was Irish/German American and her mother Italian American. She was the youngest of four siblings, and attended High Schools in both Canoga Park and Granada Hills, later matriculating at Pierce college in Woodland Hills. Ventura started her adult career in December 1979, and quickly became one of the most successful print models in the business. She appeared in the more well-known magazines such as Penthouse, Oui and Hustler, as well as a variety of lesser-known titles, sometimes multiple times over due to her popularity. She declined to hardcore until she got an offer she couldn't refuse for Bad Girls, starring opposite Pia Snow (who later became even more well-known as Scream Queen Michelle Bauer). The movie ended up being one of the biggest hits of the year. She was very selective with her Hardcore work, saying she had the most fun working with director, Fred Lincoln. She ended up living with him and his then-girlfriend, Tiffany Clark, in NYC for a time.
